About

Sensitive skin, sensitive in nature, and I love makeup.  I mostly feature cosmetic swatches, articles, and reviews.  Occasionally I may feature fashion, recipes, and home decor.

For cosmetic review reference, my best color matches are Estee Lauder Double Wear in the shades 5W1 Bronze and 5W2 Rich Caramel depending on the time of year.  If you are more familiar with the MAC shade system I wear the studio fix powder plus foundation in C6 and C7 again depending on the time of year.  My skin type is dry/sensitive for most of the year and combination/sensitive during the summer.

Please keep in mind when using my swatches for guidance that at times I alter color settings in order to showcase the true color of the actual product featured.  Also, keep in mind that differences in monitors/phone screens/tablet screens may alter the way a product looks.  I find that nothing looks the same in a picture as it does in person, so I encourage you to go to the store and take a look at things for yourself.  I also move often, so lighting conditions and climate change for me every 3 to 4 years.

Low Buy/No Buy
If you are interested in a low buy type of beauty perspective please check out my Spotlight On and Shop my Stash posts.  I've been a beauty blogger for over five years now, so I have more makeup than an average consumer.  This does mean that I have more options to choose from when I'm opting out of a new purchase, but hopefully, the thought process can help.
