Bath & Body Works Body Butter Review

Bath & Body Works Intense Moisture Body Butter
Paris Amour Scent

Honestly, its very likely that this product does what it says. Let me explain. On the package and the Bath & Body Works website it says that this body butter provides moisture for “over 24 hours.” So while I’ve never worn it straight through a 24 hour period, I can say that it provides moisture all day. I have very dry skin and this is the one lotion I can use in the morning and not have to reapply at night. Even if I go outside when its cold, my legs are still moisturized when I come back home. This is not something I’m used to. I always usually put on lotion twice a day.

For comparison, my regular lotions are Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Moisturizer and Eucerin Original Healing Soothing Repair Lotion. They both do a great job for dry skin, they just don’t last as long.

I’m not even going to try and describe the Paris Amour fragrance, but if you click on the store link above, they do a great job of telling you exactly what the scent is made up of.

There is one catch for me personally. While I love this scent, I can only use this on my legs. For the most part, I have sensitive skin, but this product does not cause any breakouts or rashes. However, if I use it on my arms, the lingering scent (which is a great thing for most people) causes some watering of my eyes. So I just limit its use to my legs and I’m happy with that.

The Body Butter is $15.00 for 7 oz, but Bath & Body Works constantly has sales, so you shouldn’t ever have to pay full price for their products. If you are military or a military dependent the price for this item is $9.00 at AAFES.
