Glasses.com In Home Try On Review

I recently needed new glasses and came across a great sale on Glasses.com. At the time they were having a 50% off of lenses sales and I wanted transitions lenses but couldn’t bring myself to buy them. Once I saw the 50% off lenses sale in combination with their new iPad App I wanted to give them a try. The App takes you through the process of recording yourself on screen without glasses. Once that is done, you can try on glasses inside the App and turn your face to the side and get a 3D view of what the glasses will look like. I felt like the portrayal of the glasses on my 3D image was quite accurate. The App is now available on the iPhone and the website says its coming soon to other devices. For more information on the App you can click here.

To take it one step further you can pick out four pairs of glasses to try on in the comfort of your home. I used the App to pick out the four pairs I wanted to try on and then used the in home try on program to be sure. For those of you that don’t have an iPad or iPhone, the in home try on program will still work nicely for you since you can sort through many options on the Glasses.com website to narrow down the choices. Most of the regular glasses are available for the program, but there are some exceptions. Shipping is covered by them both ways and you get 7 days to try them on before you have to send them back.

I know it can be scary to order something like glasses online, but this site is often running a good sale and I ended up with a pair of transitions for $150. If you are worried, you can always take the glasses into an optical shop and have them tell you the prescription of the glasses. Then you can compare that to the prescription you gave the website to ensure they made them correctly. If they didn’t make them correctly or if you just don’t like them, they have a 30 day no questions asked return policy. Check them out and let me know how it goes.

Do you have a good website for ordering glasses? Do they run good sales? Let me know in the comments.
Happy Shopping!
