Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer Review

In my opinion Super Rescue is a pretty strong name for this moisturizer. I have very dry skin on my face and I’m prone to eczema flare ups. I had high hopes for this moisturizer that it did not live up to. At night I continue to use my basic eucerin cream. However, I have found that this product works great for me as a daytime moisturizer. For me personally, it just isn’t rich enough to be my night time moisturizer. Since I do not wash again in the mornings, I find it to be a good lightweight option to use everyday. I should also note that this has an odd smell to it. Since Clinique products do not contain fragrance, there is nothing to mask the natural smells of the ingredients. The smell doesn’t last for very long, so its not a deal breaker in my opinion.

Clinique Super Rescue Antioxidant Night Moisturizer (very dry to dry skin)
$47.00 from Nordstrom.com.

This product is a bit pricey, but as a military dependent I only paid $38.25 at my local AAFES. So if you are also a dependent or in the military you can also take advantage of this discounted price. Sometimes the Cosmetics Company Store also carries this product, so if you can come across it there it would be 30% off. If you are not familiar with the Cosmetics Company Store, it is an outlet store that carries discontinued and overstock items from product lines that fall under the Estee Lauder umbrella. Also keep in mind that I am only reviewing the version that is for very dry to dry skin. Clinique also carries versions for combination oily to oily skin and dry to combination skin. Those two versions may perform completely different.
